Strawberry Raspberry Popsicles

I didn't get a close-up shot of these beauties before I handed them out at my daughters sugar free birthday. But who needs one when you can see these sweet faces gobbling them up! The simplest ingredients with no fillers. They were a big hit!

Popsicles out of a box can contain harmful ingredients like artifical colours and loads of sugar. It's truly so easy to mix these in a blender, pour, freeze and BAM! Delicious popsicles. Uncomplicated whole foods. Whats also great about these is that they don't melt as quickly because of the fiber content. It holds them together, which is great for messy little people.

Here's the simple 4 ingredients. This recipe makes 12 large popsicles:

  • 5 cups frozen berries, I used a combination of strawberry and raspberry
  • 2 handfuls of greens, frozen or fresh. I used a mix of baby kale, chard and spinach
  • 3 pitted medjool dates
  • water

Directions:

  1. Add berries, greens and dates to a high speed blender. Cover ingredients with water and blend on high for about 1 minute. Add more water if the liquid it too thick.
  2. Pour into popsicle moulds and freeze for 3+ hours or over night.
