Yesterday was quite the day. You know those days when you're on the brink... of losing your mind? Yup, that was yesterday.
With the holidays now over, we are all still trying to readjust our sleeping and routine, which is causing some serious crankiness, especially with my son. After a morning of tantrums, a failed nap, then more tantrums and an hour of trying to get him to sleep, I was spent. But it wasn't just an ordinary day, I was trying to get ready for a dinner party as well. This meant that NOTHING was getting done. Zero.
So I surrendered and decided to give myself some love. Because let's face it, if I'm losing it, that's not helping the situation. So I turned to my blender.
Inspired by my good friend Dr. Rahr's lavender mocha she had posted on her Instagram page, I knew lavender was what I needed. Calm. Serenity. To be soothed. However, I knew to stay away from caffeine as I was already too frazzled.
Enter my Mushroom Blend. This blend is packed with properties that help to calm the mind, give endurance, support the nervous system, immune system and give me a rich dose of antioxidants. Yup, this is what I needed. And guess what? It worked. I mean, I was still trying to recover from the day, get dinner ready, clean the house and deal with a cranky child, but it helped me to slow down instead of speed up. And in the end, everything was ok and dinner was delicious. (Though I still wonder if our guests noticed my eye twitching... ah motherhood).

- Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
